In Which We are Rained OUT!

This weekend, we went camping at beautiful Lake Taghkanic.
Then it rained. And rained and rained. So, the whole camping crew drove three hours home and came to our house! So, five dogs and 12 humans were in our living room, watching the Olympics and eating barbequed meat. I baked some s'mores (surprisingly good baked), and everyone got dry and warm. It was a harrowing drive home with crazy water-y floods, but it turned out to be a great day.

We were supposed to go to special antique and thrift shops up by where we were camping, but it didn't work out, so we went local on Sunday.
An awesome Wilkum sign (Pennsylvania Dutch welcome sign)

A USA tall white vase (maybe Brush?)
California pottery leaf dish ( a few chips, but awesome)
A Lady Buxton leather wallet with a couple of rhinestones on the front!
And, from last weekend, a spectacular set of batik napkin rings made in Japan. These things are bee-you-tiful!!!
I got some other odds and ends to list, but I have to put the pedal to the metal!

I love each find- and despite the rain, the indoor camping sounds quite fun! :D
